Eye of the Storm (and of the Tiger)

Currently, I am 6,000 into my research project: "How to be an Essential Part of a High-Performing Creative Team". Ironically, the max word count is 6,050, and I still have part of my critical reflection and summary to go. Just a couple of weeks ago I was worried I wouldn't have enough to talk about. It's amazing the amount of content one can produce when you're dedicated enough to spend hours in a chair drafting it up. At this point, there's 2 days left to go before I have to turn in my project. I've completed my artifact, and am VERY pleased with the outcome. I drafted two variations of it, and knew deep down I wasn't 100% satisfied with it, so I scrapped both after fully completing them and spent two full days redesigning it. I now feel like I'm in the eye of the storm so to speak, and jamming out to "Eye of the Tiger" in a Guardians of the Galaxy-esque Star Lord scene. Truthfully, through this project, I've found that I'm WAY more focused when I listen to instrumental chill-hop and progressive metal (such as my childhood friend Aaron who makes music under the moniker "Intervals") http://www.intervalsmusic.net

All this to say, I wanted to take a moment to document this moment: the end is in sight. This has been one of the most difficult experiences I've had, but right now I'm in a peaceful and inspired state. In roughly 72 hours, I'll have this monumental assignment off my desk and into the hands of my instructors.

So close.
