Task D - Images

Using images is a quick and effective way to show a portion of someone's body of work.
In certain practices, it may be easier to show than others. As I browsed through my various works, I found it was very easy to show anything visual having to do with my graphic design, video, character design, and things of that nature, however, when it comes to my work in audio, it's much more difficult. The best that can really be done for audio is simply showing photos of the recording taking place. In talking with videographers, sound designers, and people in related fields, often they refer to the importance of a "Sizzle Reel". A Sizzle Reel is a collection of work, in video format, that showcases some of your best projects. As of recent, this has been a large factor in applying for jobs, and something I haven't mastered yet. As I approached this task, it occurred to me the importance of having a central location for finished projects to display work, as I had to sift through quite a few different drives to find various pieces. This not only gives me something to work towards, but has taught me the importance of having a central location to display works. In the near future, I hope to have my creative website ready, with my works categorized, but for now, feel free to click through my Flickr below!
