Task A - Professional Profile
It’s been interesting to approach Task A a bit later than others, and see the wide variety of creativity across our Module 1 group. I’m already learning new things just by viewing others examples. Most of the time when applying to jobs in the US, a resume (like a CV) is edited and updated with experience pertaining to the job posting, then sent to the company for review. However, this will be the first time I’m drafting a “Professional Profile”. Although, as I’m browsing, I’m noticing a lot of professional profiles look similar to a concise resume. None the less…like colleague Matt Sheppard also mentioned, I’ve customized a few different types of CVs over the years, so preparing those into a clear and concise format has be the trick. I have experience in a number of different crafts so to speak, so upon sketching out my profile, it’s taken a bit of “trimming the fat”. I began the task from a "Technical" CV I drafted for general submission to Disney, and was pleased with how the first draft of the profile turned out, however I look forward to many revisions and the strengthening of this. For now...here goes nothing!
